Admission to UCH Ibadan’s Basic Midwifery Program is Set for March 2024

Applications for admission to the aforementioned institutions are being accepted from appropriately qualified people. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria grants licenses to graduates of a three-year Basic Midwifery degree as Registered Midwives (RM). The goal of the course is to give registered midwives the knowledge and abilities needed to deliver safe and efficient maternity and child health care.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must be at least 16 years old when they submit their applications.

At least five (5) O-Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from the same examination board, either WAEC or NECO at no more than two (2) sittings or NABTEB at one (1) sitting, must be attained.

How to Apply for the for the UCH Ibadan Basic Midwifery Admission Form

The application form is available beginning Monday, March 25, 2024, through the UCH SCHOOLS PORTAL: https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng. Interested individuals are to do the following:

• Visit the UCH schools portal at https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng and click the REMITA PAYMENT button to make a payment of twenty thousand naira only (N20,000.00).
• After successful payment, candidates are to sign up with their RRR, email, and password used for the payment.
• Log in with your email and password to continue the online application.
• Go to the portal at https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng and download the applicants’ user guide.
• Follow instructions on the Applicants’ User Guide to input your data and submit your application online.
• Print copies of your form and photocard and bring them to the examination center on the day of the examination.
• Make a payment of another two hundred naira (N200,00) only into the Oyo State Nursing and Midwifery Committee Account, First Bank Plc. 201970.4292.

• Sales of form: Monday, March 25, 2024, Monday, April 8, 2014.
• Examination Date: This will be communicated through email, SMS, and the hospital’s website.
• Examination Venue: Arch. Bamidele Olusegun Samson CBT Centre, University College Hospital, South Campus, Ibadan.

The CBT Entrance Exam will only be accessible to candidates who have a valid examination photocard.
